WHY CHOOSE PEACE MESSAGING?
All your recipients will appreciate this sentiment, regardless of their religious beliefs. While “Peace!” or “Peace on Earth” recalls Christmas for many, peace messaging also has a much wider meaning. Best of all, it’s short but sweet, leaving lots of room for your photo or art design, as well as other text elsewhere on your card.
PHOTO OR NO PHOTO?
At Minted, we have a variety of photo cards as well as non-photo cards with fresh and original designs. There are advantages to both options!
Here are a few of the reasons to choose a peace holiday photo card:
- Your loved ones can see how your family has grown over the past year. Holiday cards are meant to help you connect with your wider circle of loved ones. You probably haven’t been able to see them all this year, so they’ll appreciate a photograph.
- A picture is worth a thousand words. We don’t always have the right words, but the smiles on your family’s faces will speak for themselves.
- Photo cards are personal, offering a little window into your family’s life.
- When your recipients display them in their homes, they’re reminded of you.
- This is a great choice if you have photography that you are especially fond of. Why not share it?
- It’s what people most often expect from a holiday card.
A no-photo card is a sophisticated choice. Here are a few of the reasons to consider this option for your peace holiday card this year:
- You can include a loose photo with your card that friends and family can keep year-round. This is also a great option if you’re sending to a wide range of recipients and only want to send a family photo to some of them.
- This is a great option if you’re sending on behalf of a business. Of course you can send a photo card for a business holiday card, but going photo-less is often preferable.
- You’re feeling camera-shy. Not everyone is comfortable being the center of attention. That doesn’t mean you can’t let your loved ones know that you care!
- Non-photo cards offer more privacy. With social media, we are constantly circulating photos of ourselves. A non-photo card can be a breath of fresh air in this regard!
- You just want to try something new. Maybe you’ve sent the same kind of card for the past several years and want to give something else a try. A no-photo card is a sophisticated and original option.
- You want to put the emphasis on the greeting and not on you. Your message communicating that your recipients are on your mind is what really matters this holiday season!
STYLE
At Minted you have so many styles to choose from, and this is no different for our peace holiday cards. Here are a few different styles to consider:
- Simple and Minimalist
- Modern and Edgy
- Classic and Elegant
- Vintage
- Bold and Typographic
- Botanical
SIZE
Size is another important formatting decision. Choosing an unconventional size is a way to make your peace holiday card stand out. Here are a few of your different sizing options:
- A postcard: These cards are 4.25” x 6’’. You can get 105 cards for $137 at $1.31 per card. This is your most cost-effective option because you won’t need an envelope.
- A petite card: These cards are 4.25” x 6’’. Unlike the postcard, these cards require an envelope and come with a folded card option. The cost is $160 for 105 cards, or $1.52 per card. The small size is tasteful and chic. Good things come in small packages!
- A classic card: Traditional holiday cards run at 5” x 7’’. For $172 you can get 105 cards, at $1.64 per card. You can’t go wrong with this choice!
- A grand card: These striking cards run at 6’’ x 8’’. 105 cards cost $190, or $1.80 per card. Go ahead, make a statement this year!
COLOR
There are so many types of holiday cards: Christmas, Hanukkah, religious Christmas, or New Years. With a peace card, the color scheme will set the tone for your card. If you want to do a more general or non-denominational card, select a color palette that is outside the Christmas color theme of red and green. Of course, that doesn’t mean a traditional Christmas card can’t be colorful. The messaging inside is another way to communicate more specifically the type of season greeting you’d like to send. Choosing bold or unconventional colors will make your card stand out!
SHAPE
A rectangular card is an elegant, classic choice, but don’t be afraid to think outside the box. Choose from rounded corners, contoured edges, arch shapes, or an ornament card that can be hung on the Christmas tree! We have envelopes that fit all these custom sizes.

Our cards are reasonably priced, especially when you consider the premium quality of the designs and paper. But who doesn’t love to save? You have a lot of options for how to do this:
