Today 1/21/13 is the inauguration of our 44th President Barrack Obama, and there we’re lovely performers like Kelly Clarkson who sang,” My country tis of thee” James Taylor sang, “America the Beautiful”, and Beyonce who sang “The National Anthem” but through all of the excitement of the President’s ceremony, amongst the prestigious speakers and guests the fashion that was a main attraction. Michelle Obama in Thom Browne and J.Crew.
Beyonce in Emilio Pucci and Christian Dior stunned everyone not only with her AMAZING! And dynamic vocal but with her choice of outfit as well, the singer wore an all-black floor length Emilio Pucci ball gown; but it was the small touches that transformed this outfit into being an obvious statement; her emerald earrings by Lorraine Schwartz — and a pair of 80-carat emerald earrings and a 50-carat ring, to be exact! Her performance and her outfit left I and America all stunned! – Great Job!
Later that evening they celebrated until the early light! But not before Mrs. Obama stunned us all with the revealing of her Ball gown, in which she kept a secret, even from the designers! By grand introduction from her husband, she revealed herself from beyond the curtain in a striking Red Jason Wu gown, and enjoyed the first dance for the second time. This is the second time around for Michelle Obama to wear a Jason Wu for her first dance, she also wore one of his designs for the first inauguration ball back in 2008.
Jennifer Hudson graced the stage with her presence later in the night with her version of “Lets stay together” originally sang by the late by Al Green, she sounded beautiful and Mr. and Mrs. Obama enjoyed every minute of it!
