The Oscars Recap
So like millions of Americans, I watched the Oscars too! Trends? 100% fabric fabric! It seemed the thicker the better and really made the garments opulent! But the breakout trend of the night was Jennifer Lawrence and her exquisite necklace floating down her back, and bring back an early Audrey Hepburn “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” look. Prom season is coming up and this would be a great inspiration, I think we’ll see a lot of this style and silhouette this 2013 Prom season.

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior
Anne Hathaway in a Prada gown and jewels by Tiffany’s
Anna Hathaway got mixed reviews with her blush Prada gown, it showed a softer side of the actress, however; two dart placements in the dress along with the blush undertone of her skin made the young actresses fashion moment turn into a fashion fopa! By accentuating the “wrong areas!”
Reece Witherspoon in Louis Vuitton
Amanda Sayfield in Alexander McQueen
Rosario Dawson in Alexis Mabille
Catherine Zeta-Jones wearing a Zuhair Murad gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Robin Roberts in a stunning blue velvet dress by Marc Bouwer
Adele in Jenny Packham
Adele keeps it classy! You have to love the way she doesn’t feel the need to conform to the industries standards; she is a true artist when it comes to her music and fashion style. Go Adele! With her teased voluptuous hair to go with her rich voice, and full body figure.
Charlize Theron in a Dior Haute Couture gown
This hair on her is EVERYTHING! It’s a new look for her, and she’s in Dior! Although she looks amazing and radiant; this dress has beendone so many times; but it’s something about the way she carries this look that is so alluring you seem to overlook that fact.
Halle Berry looked stunning and quit futuristic with this optical illusion, geometric, Art Deco motif gown made by Versace.
Jane Fonda in Atelier Versace
Amy Adams in Oscar De La Renta
Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jennifer Lopez all chose to wear white to the 2013 Oscars! Very Lovely.
Olivia Munn in Marchesa
Kelly Rowland in Donna Karan
