June 2, 2013 , , , , ,

With the knowledge of sweat shops still active in this world; it makes one think, where does my clothing come from? thinking

These days couture houses and ethical businesses are in struggling because of the new disposable clothing era where in. How can you tell if your should be worried you might be contributing to someone’s slave boss, by the price of your clothing usually. If something is dirt cheap usually their is something sketchy behind it! How can a company make money off of selling a garment for less than a dollar? Unless it’s taken out of some company fund, it could be because it was made for less then nothing at a sweat shop in South East Asia or Mexico. Do your part and be proactive in trying to help ethical businesses prosper; and help flounder those that aren’t ethical and help enslave other people.

How Can I help? 3 Quick Tips:

1. Start checking all your labels.

2. Visit the web page of the companies you shop with and look at their ethics and see what they say they’re doing to avoid sweat shop behaviors in their company.

3. Buy items that are reasonably mid-priced instead of dirt cheap.
