Grammy 2014: Performance List Confirmed!
The two members of The Beatles will be honored at the Grammy Awards the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.
:Pharrell Williams:Daft Punk:Nile Rodgers
Daft Punk is nominated for four awards at the 56th Grammys awards. They’re nominated for Album of the Year, Best Dance/Electronica Album for “Random Access Memories” a Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for one of the biggest songs of the year, “Get Lucky.”
Pharrell Williams is also nominated for seven awards, for his featured credits on the songs “Blurred Lines” and “Get Lucky.” He is also being recognized for being a producer on Kendrick Lamar’s album “Good Kid, M.A.A.D city.”
They have two nominations: Best Rock Performance for the song “Radioactive and Record of the Year.”

Katy Perry: Roar
Receiving seven nominations “Good Kid, M.A.A.D city,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in Oct. 2012. His nominations for the night include: Best New Artist, Album Of The Year (Good Kid: M.A.A.D City), Best R&B & Rap Performance, Best Rap Album, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration-“Now Or Never” featuring Mary J. Blige , and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration- “Problems” featuring Tauheed Epps, Aubrey Graham, Rakim Mayers & Noah Shebib.
Beyonce is said to take the stage with husband Jay-Z for her first television debut since the release of her surprise debut album “Beyonce” The Visual Album. In December 2013 the singer suddenly released her fifth solo album which broke several records because it’s the first album that made it to the top of the charts with no single, prior promotion, or previous announcement.
Jay-Z released his twelfth studio album “Magna Carta Holy Grail,” in July of 2013. He’s nominated for Best Rap Album. The album features hits like “Holy Grail”, ” Tom Ford” and Picasso Baby.
New Zealand-born Lorde will perform at the Grammys 2014. Her first studio album,”Pure Heroine,” release September 13 2013, yielded her first No.1 single “Royals” She has four nominations: Record of the year, Song of the Year and best solo performance for “Royals” and also Best Pop Vocal Album for “Pure Heroine.” Her debut album goes on to be mentioned on OTRC.com’s list of the 10 best albums of 2013.
Metallica: Lang Lang
For the Fist time in 23 years Legendary rockers Metallica will perform with the Grammy Cultural Ambassador to China Lang Lang for a Grammy Night special performance. Their nominated for Best Recording Package for Metallica’s “Through The Never (Music From The Motion Picture).”
Pink: Nate Ruess

Pink is sent to perform her her No. 1 on the Billboard hit “Just Give Me a Reason,” featuring the fun. This will be their debut performance together on network television. Their nominations include: Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Robin Thicke: Chicago
Thicke is accompanied by the band Chicago for his special Grammy performance. In 2013 Chicago’s album “The Chicago Transit Authority” was put into the hall of fame.

Taylor is nominated for four awards at the Grammys this year: ” Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Highway Don’t Care,” featuring Tim McGraw and Keith Urban, Album Of The Year, Best Country Album for “Red, and Best Country Song “Begin Again.

The 2014 Grammy’s will be the a first ever for Haggard. Blake Shelton is nominated for Best Country Album for “Based On A True Story” and Best Country Solo Performance for the song “Mine Would Be You.”
Urban is nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Highway Don’t Care,” featuring Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift.Urban also just recently signed to his second season as a judge on American Idol.
Paul McCartney: Ringo Starr
